THE ROARING TIMES 4/18/25

Dear Nobleboro Central School Families,

I’m writing to share some bittersweet news: at the end of this school year, I will be stepping down from my position at NCS and transitioning into a new role as Assistant Principal at Camden Rockport Elementary School.

This was not an easy decision. Being a part of the Nobleboro school community has truly been one of the highlights of my entire 25 year career working in schools and youth development organizations. Over the past three years, I’ve been so fortunate to work alongside an incredible team of educators and to partner with families like yours in support of every student.

Together, we’ve celebrated meaningful moments, navigated many challenges, and advocated for what our students need to thrive. What I’ll carry with me most is the unwavering commitment I’ve witnessed every day - both from staff and from families - to making NCS a safe, joyful, and enriching place for all children.

There is still important work to do in the coming weeks, and I remain fully committed to finishing the year strong. I’ll also be working closely with Todd Sanders - our superintendent - to ensure a smooth and thoughtful leadership transition as the school looks ahead.

Thank you for the trust, partnership, and support you've shown me. It has truly been an honor to be part of this community.

What a show!! Congratulations to Ms. Plummer and her students for the wonderful performance last night at the Waldo Theatre. From lights, audio, and scenery to the cast and crew, it was evident how much time and effort was invested. Bravo Lions!!

It's a "ticky" situation!! With the rising temps and the ground clear of snow, students have begun to explore the schoolyard a bit more. With that comes the increased likelihood of exposure to ticks. We will do our best to quick-check students and encourage nightly checks at home as well.
