A huge thank you goes out to the NPTO for donating two dozen books to the NCS Library after the winter book fair. Judging by these smiles, its safe to say they have been a big hit!
Congratulations to the boys and girls basketball teams for their hard work this season. Both teams finished the regular season in 6th place. Ultimately, both teams lost their quarterfinal games but showed what it means to be a Lion, never giving up. We are proud of you!
Also having a successful season was our newly formed cheer team. Performing during our home games, these girls sure knew how to bring the spirit! GO LIONS!!
Thank you to all our coaches for their time and dedication to our students, Tess Zahn - Girls Basketball, Zach Brown - Boys Basketball, Kayla O'Donnell & Shania Melvin - Cheer.
Oh baby!! On Tuesday afternoon, NCS staff celebrated Nurse Kayla and the pending arrival of her little one.
The NCS Highlighters team won first place in the Battle of the Books Wednesday at Lincoln Academy, and South Bristol School won the Great Maine Book Tournament.
The NCS team, which included four fourth-graders, read 15 books and practiced by writing and answering trivia questions for several months during lunchtime in the school library. Go, Lions!
