Dear NCS Families,
Dress Code Update
Though it doesn’t quite feel like Fall lately, the colder weather is bound to arrive soon. We are a school that places high value on outside recess. With that in mind, please make sure students are dressed appropriately for the conditions each day. This means at least a coat to match the temperature and footwear to keep feet warm and dry. One item that we have seen brought to school lately is not allowed for warmth at school: blankets. If a blanket is brought to school, students will be asked to leave it in the office until dismissal. This also includes wearable blankets with arms. In our experience they present a distraction and are too casual for a work environment.

Happy Halloween! Or, as we call it at NCS, Pumpkin Day!! Students in grades K through 4 enjoyed a morning of fun yesterday, moving through different stations where they did crafts, played games, and of course got a little messy.

You're invited to check out all Lincoln Academy has to offer. Please join them Wednesday night at their Open House. While there you will have the opportunity to tour the school, and hear from teachers and current LA students.
