Greetings to all families! We here at Central Office hope that you had a lovely break in December, and that the New Year is treating you well! Many school budgets are well underway in the development and approval process for the 2024-2025 school year. Nobleboro, Bristol, and South Bristol are moving forward into the town approval channels, and Great Salt Bay and Jefferson are in the development process. We encourage you to be involved and aware of the budgets and the process for discussion and voting in your town.
Many of our schools have openings if you are interested in working with students and the wonderful staff we have in our schools. Check out our school websites or servingschools.com for available openings in all areas of our schools and come join our teams!
Stay well and enjoy the winter season!
Lynsey Johnston, Superintendent

Snow season is upon us and with that comes school delays and closures. Our new system from Thrillshare sends out these alerts via text, phone calls and emails, and also posts to our schools’ social media pages and websites.
To guarantee effective communication, our system retrieves parent contact information from Powerschool. If your home phone is listed in Powerschool, Thrillshare will attempt to reach you on that number, along with any other phone number you've provided. However, we understand that landline calls may not be preferred for school closures and alerts. If you'd like to opt out of receiving these calls, simply contact your school to have your landline number removed.
Please note, we advise against removing or blocking cell phone numbers to ensure you receive critical alerts during emergencies. In the event you receive multiple calls per alert, kindly inform your school so we can investigate the issue promptly.
Lincoln Academy sends separate alerts from their Swiftreach system.
Please let us know how we can make communication from the schools and district a better experience for you. Feel free to email your school’s office if you have questions or concerns.
Congratulations to the boys and girls basketball teams on their quarter-final playoff game wins on Wednesday. Both teams will play their semi-final games on Monday. Our 4th place girls team will travel to play #1 Boothbay, and our 1st place boys team will host either Jefferson or Wiscasset (both games will be played at 3:45pm). GO LIONS!!
NCS 8th Graders Win The Stock Market Game with Outstanding Financial Performances
