Sixth grade students performed science experiments this week while learning about density.
8th graders took a trip to the Bath Regional Career and Technical Center. Students spent the day exploring the fields of Automotive, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Electrical, Engineering/Architectural Design, Graphic Design, Health Science, and Welding.
Ready, Set, Read!!! Bikes for Books is back! In April we will raffle off 8 bikes to 8 lucky kids. Thank you to the Masons for sponsoring this wonderful event for our students.
And the NCS Lion's Club Peace Poster 1st place prize goes to..... Eleanor Bartrug! After winning first place at the school level, Ellie's poster was entered in the district-wide competition, just falling short of a second prize. Way to go Ellie!!
Our 5th - 8th Grade students will be traveling to Lincoln Academy's Poe Theater this Thursday, the 24th, to watch Heartwood Theater's production of The Jungle Book. This production is full of area students, including one of our very own, Aura Jones. This is sure to be a great show and wonderful experience. However, with academics being a priority, any student not passing their classes or missing numerous assignments will remain at NCS to complete school work.
It's time for us to start planning for next year's Kindergarten class. If you or someone you know has a child turning 5 before Oct 15, 2024, and they reside in Nobleboro, please complete the Kindergarten Pre-Registration Form
