Thanksgiving Feast
When I came on board as principal last year and asked staff what some of the meaningful experiences for students were at NCS, Thanksgiving Feast was often cited. So, after a 3-year hiatus caused by the pandemic, we are excited to bring back this special event. Thanksgiving Feast brings families of students in grades K-4 into the building for a traditional sit-down Thanksgiving dinner prepared by our fabulous kitchen staff and served during the school day. Parent/Teacher Conferences
If you have not done so already, please sign up for a slot with your child’s teacher at the upcoming parent/teacher conferences. These meetings strengthen the family/school partnership by providing an opportunity to have face-to-face conversations about each student’s academic and social emotional growth and challenges.

Students began their 11 week program at The Apprenticeshop last Friday, where they will be building a toboggan to race at The Camden Snow Bowl. They are also spending a few weeks volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. To top off their day, a quick pit stop is taken at The MAC for PE class.
