WELCOME BACK!!
We've had a great start to the new school year here at NCS! Seeing everyone's smiling faces has warmed our hearts as much as the high temperatures have.
Dear NCS Families,
The start of the school year has been an exciting and productive time for our students. In the past week, your child has had the opportunity to settle into their classrooms, get to know their teachers and classmates, learn the various routines and hear about the activities that lie ahead for them.
Communicating our academic and behavior expectations as well as the overall vision for student achievement at NCS is key to a successful partnership between home and school, so if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress or experience at school, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
We have an exciting year planned with many opportunities for your child to learn and thrive, so please be on the lookout for Rooms communications, emails from teachers, as well as our website for upcoming events and other important updates throughout the school year.
Best,
Adam Bullard

NCS in partnership with Lincoln Health will be holding a Flu Clinic on Tuesday, October 3rd from 1-3pm.
Be on the lookout for more information regarding both great opportunities .
Students who participated in the Summer Reading Program celebrated in the library Friday with a "Minute To Win It" style game. Forty-six NCS children from Grades 1-7 took part in the fun. They balanced pom-pom filled plates on their heads, threaded Cheerios one-handed onto pipe cleaners, and even moved a cookie from their forehead to their mouth with no hands. Excitement was running high as everyone received a certificate for their achievement, a prize bag and a sweet treat for their hard work. GO LIONS!
