Please be advised that a joint emergency training exercise involving LifeFlight of Maine and CLC Ambulance Service will occur this evening, Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Great Salt Bay Community School.
As part of this coordinated drill, a LifeFlight helicopter will land in the front parking lot of the school at approximately 1900 hours (7:00 PM). Emergency vehicles and personnel from both agencies will be on-site, participating in a scheduled simulation designed to enhance emergency preparedness and interagency coordination.
This is a planned training event, and there is no emergency. We kindly ask that community members avoid the front parking lot during this time to ensure safety and allow the training to proceed without disruption.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to maintain readiness for real-life emergencies.

6th grade making oobleck in science class!
Oobleck, often called "slime," is a non-Newtonian fluid, a mixture of cornstarch and water that behaves like a liquid when at rest and a solid when pressure is applied.

First graders playing with their 6th grade buddies!

Pre-K loves the woods so much we brought them into the classroom! We’re researching like scientists learning about amphibians and reptiles in woods and swamps.
